It was July 1, 2023 (midpoint to the year) and I had set a goal in January to lose 10% of my weight by the end of the year. I had tried everything! Intermittent fasting, walking for an hour a day (I honestly probably did it half the time), not eating carbs, and doing some weight training. The year was half over and I wasn’t seeing results and wanted to give up.
And mentally, I did. I blamed it on my genetics, my busy schedule, and my lifestyle.
